POLICIES AT BELLE MAISON BOUTIQUE B&B Our 3- room ADULT ONLY Boutique Bed and Breakfast is found in the rural area of North Saanich/Sidney.  Guests are within an 8 minute leisurely walk to the ocean and numerous walking trails and a short 8 minute drive to Sidney.  While a car is highly recommended, there is a municipal bus service #85 North Saanich which does operate on a limited schedule from a stop close to the B&B.   B&B guests have access to our free WiFi, streaming TV channels in their room along with coffee & tea.  Check-In and Check-Out Policies   Check-in: 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM Check-out: 11:00 AM Cancellation Policy Guests may cancel their reservation up to 14 days before available check-in on the day of arrival without charge, after which  the reservation becomes non-refundable . ​ Payment ​ A 13% government tax will be added at time of payment. (GST  5% PST 8%). We will charge the total amount due to the credit card on file 14 days prior to your arrival date. If the credit card is declined, you must provide the B&B with a new valid form of payment within 24 hours or the reservation will be cancelled. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards as forms of payment.  In the event of a last minute booking (4 days prior to arrival or less, excluding a reservation for same day arrival),the credit card will be charged and if the credit card is declined, you will be notified and requested to provide new valid credit card information within 6 hours.  If payment is again declined, the booking will be cancelled.  In the event of booking for same day arrival, the credit card will be immediately charged.  If the card is declined, the reservation will be cancelled immediately.   ​ Smoke-Free Hotel Belle Maison Boutique B&B is a 100% smoke and flame-free property.  Smoking of any kind (including e-cigarettes), is not permitted in any part of the B&B property, including the grounds and driveway. Guests will be asked to leave without reimbursement and assessed a minimum $250 cleaning fee if it has been determined that they have been smoking, vaping or burning candles or incense in their room or any part of the B&B. Pets Regrettably, pets of any kind are NOT allowed in any part of the B&B. A service dog accompanying a guest is permitted. Quiet Hours Quiet hours are 10pm to 7am. Any quiet hour violations and/or disturbances will result in a $100 fine per incident. More than one incident and that guest will be asked to leave without reimbursement. Guest Requirements Belle Maison B&B is an adult-only B&B.  We cannot accommodate children including infants and newborns.  You must be at least 25 years of age to stay in Laburnum Cottage. You must be at least 21 years of age to stay in either The Seaview Room or The Nest. Damages While accidents do happen, guests will be financially responsible for damage due to gross negligence. Hazardous Items No items that are hazardous, illegal or disruptive to other guests are allowed in the B&B. A guest found having such items anywhere within the B&B will be asked to leave without reimbursement. Force Majeure Belle Maison Boutique B&B shall not be held liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting directly or indirectly from acts of nature (fire, wind storms etc.) or any causes beyond our control, including computer, internet, telecommunication or other equipment failure, loss of data, disruption of utilities such as water, electrical service, or disaster or circumstance that make it impossible or illegal to provide or use the B&B’s facilities. Accessibility The property is built on a hill and accessibility to the rooms at the Bed and Breakfast are via stairs. There are 6 stairs from the driveway up to the Garden Suite (Laburnum Cottage) and to the walkway to the main house. 1 flight of stairs up to the 2nd floor Seaview Room and 2 flights of stairs up to The Nest. The B&B does not have an elevator/lift. (Effective August 1, 2024)
