Belle Maison B&B is conveniently situated near the Swartz Bay ferry terminal and easy highway access to other parts of the Saanich Peninsula and "up Island". Here are some experiences of the West Coast you don't want to miss!

Sidney Whale Watching: First Nation owned and operated. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Gulf Islands Archipelago for a 3 hour tour while spotting whales. Tours leave conveniently from downtown Sidney.
Day trip to Salt Spring Island via BC Ferries from Swartz Bay to Fulford Harbour
Malahat Skywalk - Victoria's top-rated experience "It is no walk in the park"! Walk up the 10 story spiral tower (gentle rise, no stairs) for fabulous bird's eye view over forest, mountains and sea and slide back down on the 20 metre (66 feet) sizzler slide.
Geocaching! If you have never done Geocaching, you must! It's the world's largest treasure hunt! Sign up here, download the Geocaching app and start your hunt as a new Geocacher. Hint: There is a cache VERY close to a beach near Belle Maison B&B!

Belle Maison Auprès De La Mer B&B, is a home away from home where you can relax, unwind, and experience the coastal lifestyle. Built high on a hill overlooking Satellite Channel toward Salt Spring Island, our traditional bed and breakfast is entering its 12th year of business, sharing with our guests with an intimate atmosphere, daily housekeeping, personalized service and thoughtfully decorated rooms. The beach is a short 6 minute walk in forest-scented air to a beach with tide pools brimming with small sea life. Choose smooth beach stones and shells strewn by the outgoing tides. As we are an adult-only B&B, we regret that we cannot accommodate children including infants and newborns. Also, due to the geography of the property and the required stairs to access the rooms and cottage, this property is not suitable for those with mobility challenges.
