THINGS TO DO AROUND SIDNEY

Plan your adventure with Belle Maison B&B.  Our accommodations provide the perfect starting point for planning things to do for your Sidney area visit. â€‹Explore kayaking, whale watching, a trip to Sidney Spit by launch or kayaking your way there! Butchart Gardens must be seen, especially since it was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 2004.  High tea at Butchart's is always elegant and delicious.

Here are some more things to do around Sidney!

  • How about getting hands-on with sea cucumbers and urchins in the Touch Pool at Shaw Centre for the Salish Sea - an inter-active aquarium and learning centre, located at the end of Beacon Ave.

  • You don't want to miss the Bevan Fishing Pier, accessed off the Sidney Waterfront Walkway.

  • Beautiful views of snow-covered Mount Baker, too. Easily accessed from the bottom of Bevan Avenue in downtown Sidney.

  • For those who enjoy wines and ciders, there are two close-by wineries and a ciderhouse

  • A number of craft breweries in Sidney, too.

Wading in water

A beach nearby the Bed & Breakfast is only an 8 minute stroll along the country road and following a path through the pine forest to a West Coast beach.  Lots of kelp, shells and sunshine.  Even the BC Ferries pass by enroute to Vancouver.
